The Continental GT is Bentley's most sophisticated open-top car. The rear tonneau, for example, showcased the largest piece of dark-stained, book-matched Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to an actual production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

It is this bespoke design, attention to detail and craftsmanship to detail that has established Bentley as the most sought-after automobile brand. The company continues pushing boundaries with the latest technologies and hand-crafted products. This includes the introduction of an electronic tilt-opening rear window sunroof and a handcrafted Apple iPad docking station.

In addition to a set of stylishly executed styling changes, the Mulsanne is powered by twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre W12 engine that can produce 560bhp and 479lbft of torque. This incredible power is enhanced by a new suspension architecture that delivers Bentley's signature hushed ride.

In celebration of its Centenary, Bentley introduced a specific specification that is called the Centenary Specification for cars manufactured in 2019. This includes contrast stitching and cross-stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests seats, the interior and other areas of the car. This adds to the celebration. The Centenary Specification also includes a custom Bentley keycase to complete the Bentley experience.

Personalisation

Bentley's Mulliner division lets customers create their own car. The "mood station" lets customers pick images that inspire them. These could range from stunning views to sporting events. After each selection is made, a pattern emerges and reveals the models and colors of the custom Bentley.

The guests receive an individual key case created by hand that contains the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys can be equipped with Bentley Muliner Personalised welcome lamps that illuminate the pathway of the entrance door, and display the owner's name or logo as they approach the vehicle.

Bentley estimates it takes approximately 500 man-hours in order to create and put together the typical Mulsanne. A key to that time-consuming effort is a deliberate refusal to take advantage of modern technology. Instead of using a machine to space the perfectly-matched leather seats, workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. Drivers must park their vehicles manually, not using sensors built into the vehicle to guide them into perpendicular and paralell spots.

During the event, Bentley showcased its Mulliner personalization capabilities by presenting one of a kind - the Mulsanne W.O. The Mulsanne W.O. Edition pays homage to founder William Osler Bentley.  bentley mulsanne key  limited-edition cars have 100 of them. the key with a special design that shows a portion of the 1930 8 Liter's crankshaft.
